The guests, including the members of their FFL football team, the Wildcats, were asks to bring gifts, not for the boys, but rather for the With Love It’s a Small World Angel program.

With Love, It’s a Small World and Frisco Independent School District have been busy this week filling bags with goodies to help meet the holiday wishes of disadvantaged children who attend FISD. This year the program will provide clothes, toys or gift cards for more than 1,500 angels ranging from toddlers to high school students.

The expectations were high and the parents were proud at the annual Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship Night held April 12. The Foundation Board and the various organizations and families who fund scholarships through FEF were excited to be handing out college money to a record breaking number of seniors. The event was held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. More than 160 students received funds through FEF at the event.

Van "Vicki" Vu, senior at Centennial High School, is the recipient of a full four year scholarship that will cover tuition and fees at the University of Dallas. This scholarship is an estimated value of $84,000. The scholarship is a joint effort of the University of Dallas and Small World, according to Bonnie Jones, counselor at Centennial High School.
